Lahore Garrison Education System comprised of 2 Evening Schools till 2012 along with Morning Schools. The standard of Education in the Evening Schools was at par with the Morning Schools. However, most of the parents especially Army Personnels desired to get admissions in the Morning Schools. Therefore, the then Commander 4 Corps Lt Gen Rashad Mahmood decided to have another Morning School to meet the requirement. An extensive study was carried out by LGES Staff in coordination with Headquarters 4 Corps for establishment of Morning School and as a result, Gar Academy CL was established on 15th Nov 2012 to meet the requirement of Junior School.
All the Army Wards studying at Evening School Gar Academy Jnr, Sarwar Shaheed Campus were shifted to this school thus adjusting the overflow of the students both from Army & Civilian Background.

Over 6 years, the school showed noticeable progress in terms of provisions keeping teaching/ learning on the top. Initially the status of school was a Junior School for Classes PG-III.
